About
Shrek Forever After is an action-adventure video game based on the film of the same name. It was released on May 18, 2010, in North America. It is the fourth and final video game based on the movie series of Shrek. It was the last DreamWorks Animation game released for Windows and the first Shrek game on the PlayStation 3.
Storyline
Once a fearsome ogre, Shrek has settled into a comfortable life as a domesticated family man, living happily with Princess Fiona and their triplets. But the daily grind of autographing pitchforks for tourists leaves him longing for the days when he felt like a real ogre again. Seizing on that discontent, the smooth-talking dealmaker Rumpelstiltskin tricks Shrek into signing a pact, and the ogre suddenly finds himself cast into a twisted, alternate version of Far Far Away. In this warped reality, ogres are hunted as monsters, Rumpelstiltskin rules as king, and Shrek and Fiona have never even met. To set things right, Shrek must unravel Rumpelstiltskin's mischief and fight to save his friends, restore his world, and reclaim the family and love he took for granted.
