About
Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge is a point-and-click graphic adventure and the second entry in the Monkey Island series. Players guide the pirate Guybrush Threepwood through a comedic Caribbean setting, using a verb-based command interface and an inventory of items to explore locations, talk with characters, and solve puzzles. The game offers a choice of puzzle difficulty at the start, letting players pick a standard experience or a streamlined one.
Storyline
Set some time after Guybrush Threepwood's first adventure, the story follows him as he searches the islands for a legendary treasure known as Big Whoop. His efforts accidentally lead to the return of the zombie pirate LeChuck, who vows revenge against him. With guidance from the Voodoo Lady, Guybrush learns that a map to Big Whoop was split into pieces and scattered, and he travels between several islands to gather them while staying ahead of his vengeful enemy.
